Clothes Do Not Make The Man

Of course not. The fact of dressing for the occasion will not do give you a sudden dancer look.

Let's talk about some aspects of dress which, while not essential, will help to put ourselves further in our role. It is true that (male or female) can wear jeans, jeans, jeans or whatever you want to call and o dance like a top ... yes! ... But keep in mind that dancing is an art and as such is not bad staging.

Before proceeding further, I want to clarify that I am not referring to the dance or competitive sports, which include not only details of the dress, but also make up as part of the "props" for both men and for women. But in regard to social dance or lounge but any clothing is valid (including jeans), it does not hurt to care a bit that "staging" to which I referred to earlier.

The man in black shirt and pants will always look right. We should note that we do not change clothes as the dance and that we maintain the same throughout the evening. This does not exclude other colors but I would avoid leaning towards flowers and stripes, solid colors and no flashy hues (it says: the best dancing color is black).

For women, black can be a very appropriate color, but that does not exclude any other but no flowers, please unless of course the theme of the dancing party is a hula night. It is always best to wear skirt pants because it has no proper motion while the slope helps to enhance any of the developments of the couple, especially the corners.

As for footwear, use one that is especially comfortable. Do not look for the shoe "monkey" with which the mere fact of walking like a martyr just to wear that awesome shoes that doesn’t fit you well. Just imagine what it will be like to dance in those skyscrapers.

For Him a black shoe with leather soles is enough, it will allow him to spin without getting caught off the track. The shoe should be closed at the foot securely.

In women, leather sole is a plus, it does not have to be closed, and there is the question of the heel. As a general rule, we recommend a medium heel (heel some, but not too much) to help enhance the figure. Some may argue "I am most comfortable with flat shoes"... well, no doubt to be true, but a small sacrifice for the benefit of the aesthetics ... it never hurts.
